The Labour Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Application is a digital platform designed to monitor and manage the health screening and medical records of labourers working in construction sites and government infrastructure projects. Construction labourers are often exposed to occupational health risks such as respiratory diseases, skin infections, musculoskeletal disorders, and other work-related health conditions. The MMU program ensures that medical teams regularly visit construction sites and conduct health screenings for workers.
Each district operates a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) consisting of a dedicated medical team that travels to construction sites and provides on-site health services. The Labour MMU Application enables digital tracking of these activities, ensuring efficient service delivery, accurate data capture, and centralized monitoring by district and state authorities. Through this platform, healthcare teams can record labour details, conduct health screenings, prescribe medicines, and maintain medical records, while administrators can monitor attendance, field activities, performance metrics, and grievance management related to labour welfare.

Construction workers often lack regular access to healthcare services. The MMU program brings medical services directly to their workplaces, ensuring timely screening, early detection of diseases, and access to basic medical treatment.

The application captures the daily attendance of the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) staff, including the doctor, staff nurse, lab technician, driver, and cleaner. Attendance is recorded with GPS-based latitude and longitude tracking to verify that the team is present at the designated construction site location. This ensures transparency in field operations and confirms that medical teams are actively delivering services.
The system maintains a centralized database of construction sites and government project locations where labourers are employed. Each site can be mapped to the respective MMU team and district. This module enables authorities to track which construction sites are being covered, schedule visits, and ensure that all active sites receive regular health screening services.
Labourers working at registered construction sites are enrolled in the application to maintain their digital health profiles. The system captures demographic information, work details, and medical history. This enables continuous monitoring of labour health conditions and ensures that workers receive consistent healthcare services during MMU visits.
The application enables the MMU medical team to conduct on-site health screenings for labourers. Doctors and nurses can record vital signs, symptoms, occupational health risks, and preliminary diagnoses directly in the application. This helps identify common construction-related health issues such as respiratory problems, skin conditions, and other work-related illnesses.
Based on the screening results, doctors can prescribe and record medicines provided to labourers. The system maintains a digital record of treatments, prescriptions, and medicines dispensed, ensuring proper documentation of healthcare services delivered during MMU visits.
The application provides district and state authorities with real-time dashboards to monitor MMU performance, site visits, labour screenings, and healthcare outcomes. The platform also includes a grievance management system where labour-related issues or concerns can be registered, tracked, and resolved efficiently, improving accountability and labour welfare oversight.
